William Eugene Beck, 75, of Jonesboro passed away October 21, 2017.
He was Executive Director of Jonesboro United Way, Jackson, MS United Way for 10 years, and Hinds County, MS Sheriff CFO. Mr. Beck was a veteran of the U. S. Army and enjoyed writing poetry, gardening and reading.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Helen Wyatt Beck; two sons, Aaron Beck and Jason Beck.

Survivors include sons, Thomas (Kasi) Beck and Brandon (Jamie) Beck; grandson, Griffin Beck, granddaughters, Lucy Jones and Chloe Sumrall; great-granddaughter, Maggie Jones, and sister, Peggy Beck Wood; nieces, Lisa Ammerman and Jill Morris.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Services will be private.
