Iantha Pruett Anderson, 95, of Cord, Arkansas, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Wood-Lawn Nursing Home.
Born January 11, 1922, in Cord, Arkansas, she was the daughter of William Charles Pruett and Ruthy June (Parr) Pruett.
Iantha retired from GenCorp after 20 years of employment. She loved working outside, especially in her flower garden. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, helping others and was the caretaker of McAdams Park in Cord.
She is survived by two sons, Jay Anderson and his wife, Vergilene, of Cord and Tony Anderson and his wife, Sheila, of Cave City; three grandchildren, Deborah Cockrill, Greg Anderson, and Heather Cremeens; five great-grandchildren, Meagan Conyers, Matthew Anderson, Hayden Cockrill, Mason Anderson and Toni Cremeens; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmy Pruett of Batesville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lynn Anderson; and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Oakridge Methodist Church in Cord with Bro. Frank Tripp officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Greg Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Wayne Anderson, David Hix, Randy Paul and Rusty Paul.
Honorary pallbearers are her nephews, Ron Pruett, Eddie Pruett, Don Wayne Anderson and David Anderson.
Visitation is from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the funeral home.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I always enjoyed visiting with Mrs. Iantha at the park or wherever I saw her. She will be missed by many.
