I'm so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW

We will miss Shirley at His House. She was so faithful, even when she did not feel well and had to use a walker. We called her the, "Eveready Bunny", because she just kept going and going!

Such a special lady.

My deepest condolences to the family. Mrs. Shirley was truly a genuine person. I saw her everyday in the gym, more dedicated than anyone I have ever seen. She was inspiring. I feel terrible I am unable to make it to the funeral. She has a beautiful soul, and may she look down upon us all.

With Love,

To the family of Ms. Shirley we send our deepest sympathy and prayers. Shirley's friendship was given without effort, she gave it to all of us be it children or the small animals she passed each morning and evening while she walked her own beloved pets or the newspapers she would stop and pick up in a driveway and place it on the door step of an elderly neighbor, or the countless cookies, candy, and fruit breads she prepared for Christmas gifts. Being a volunteer at His House was a responsibility that brought her great joy, I will miss her with all my heart, she is truly loved and our good friend.
