Wanda Lu Meharg, 87, was born to Vernon and Dora English Lawrence on September 13, 1930 in Joy, Arkansas and died on September 14, 2017 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was a resident of Letona.

She worked for many years at the International Shoe Factory and at the Birdseye Factory. She loved gardening for both flowers and vegetables. She loved raising animals and her dog, Cricket.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Wilburn Lawrence.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Clayton Meharg, two daughters, Phyllis Kerr (Terry) of North Little Rock, Terry Haney (Chuck) of Sherwood, two grandchildren, Stacey Harkey, Scott Kerr, two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Brockman, Chase Harkey, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 10 AM until Service time at 11 AM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
