Ola Mae Nations Mullinax, age 87, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. She was born to the late, William and Katie Sinyard Nations on August 8, 1930 in Spring Hill, Arkansas.

Ola met the love of her life, Thomas Mullinax in Hope, Arkansas, and they married on August 10, 1948. They lived in North Little Rock and raised a beautiful family. Ola was also a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, North Little Rock. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was kind, funny, generous, feisty, strong, and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters: Carolyn (Robert) Dunn of Southaven, MS, and Nancy (Brad) Wasson of North Little Rock; her grandchildren: Cynthia (Michael) Brown, Daniel Poe, Catherine Dunn and William Wasson; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Mikaela and McKinley Brown and Emma Poe. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Chamlee of Mesquite, Texas; her brother-in-law, Guy Bobo, of Texarkana, Arkansas, and her sisters-in-law, Elise Nations of Hemingway, South Carolina, and Gloria Nations of Ashdown, Arkansas, and a host of extended family.

Ola was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Mullinax; her parents, Will and Katie Sinyard Nations; and her siblings: Archie Nations, Elbert Nations (and first wife, Pauline), Roy Nations (and wife, Eva Jewel), Floyd Nations, Mary Reese Nations (and husband, Bryan), Nellie Bobo, Elmer Nations (and wife, Ena), Barney Nations (and wife, Mamie), and brother-in-law, Bobby Chamlee.

Funeral for Ola Mae Mullinax will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 18th at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, (501)791-7400. Burial at: Evening Shade Cemetery, Hope, AR, at 2:30 P.M., with a visitation at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
