Caroline Van Wieren, age 89, formerly of Harrison, Arkansas, went to be with Jesus Sunday, September 3, 2017, in Holland, MI. She was born on October 31, 1927, in Ann Arbor, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerritt and Jennie Warmelink; her husband, Marvin; her son, Danny Lee; and a grandson, Daniel Dwyer.
She is survived by her five children, Lloyd (Deborah) of Holland, MI, Beth (Mass) Van Wieren of Harrison, Patricia Boss of Henderson, N.C., Marla of the home and Crystal (Paul) Dwyer of Puyallup, WA; along with ten grandchildren, Michelle Van Wieren being the first grandchild who was just like her own child; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as three brothers-in-law, Don and Alan Van Wieren and Bob Boes; and her best friend, Mary Larson, from her California days. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
An informal Visitation and Celebration of Life will be hosted by Pastor Arlis Thrasher and Pastor Tim Phillips at 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 8, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison.
Interment will be Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Crawford Cemetery, at 10:00 A.M. Everyone is welcome.
I have fond memories of your Mom and your Dad, they always had a smile and a kind word. I am glad they are together again. But saddened for your loss...may God give you comfort at the time. Soon we will all be together, love and prayers, Sandi
