William F. ''Bill'' Simpson, 87, of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017. He was born on August 18, 1930, in Dewitt, Arkansas to the late Fearman Simpson and Myrtle Simpson Palmer. He spent his working life in the tool and die trade and retired in 1996. He was married for 62 years to Alcyon Ingle Simpson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Simpson.
Bill is survived by his wife; three sons. Bob (Molly) Simpson of Jonesboro, AR, Dion (Theresa) Simpson of Malvern, AR, and Mark (Vicki) Simpson of Little Rock, AR. He is also survived by his brothers, Will (Louise) Simpson of Reno, NV, Donnie (Bobbie) Simpson of Seattle, WA, and his sisters Shirley (Tom) Lame of Hobbs, NM, Anita (Roger) Maddison of Richmond, VA, Sandy (Gary) Mittondorf of Florence, AZ and Glorene (Mark) Stevens of Renton, WA.
In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren, Mandy (Chad) Mary, Drew (Sheridan) Posey, Aaron (Allison) Simpson, Chelsea (Phil) Dietz, Nick (Brandy) Simpson, Kaitlin Simpson, Jennifer (Andrew) Ferguson, Kaylee Simpson and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services 10 A.M., Friday, September 8, 2017, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ar., 72209, 501-455-5800. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for 6-8 P.M., Thursday, September 7, at the funeral home.

I worked with Ms Al at LRTS for 16 years. I spoke with Bill many times. He was a real gentleman and a pleasure to be around. My sympathy to the family.
