Our Sweet Joy, you will be missed by many. She played at our Wedding in 1988. She was our Church organist. We had a special friendship with Joy. She made the best homemade banana split ice cream. Many prayers for your family. Matt. 18:20

I am so sorry for your loss. This incredible lady was my second grade school teacher and I have loved her since then and that was 50 years ago. I had the joy of working at the hospital as she served as a volunteer for the past several years. Such a sweet lady! She will be missed.

Johnny and family,
I have known Joy more years than I want to admit. She was a true southern lady in every sense of the word. She always had a smile on her face and a hello for everyone. She loved her family, friends, and her God. Hold on to each other as she taught you to do. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

You were named aptly, for you were JOY to know and brought JOY to my life and ministry while I was with you at West Helena. If it is possible to add even more JOY to a time or a place, you always found the right way to do this. If we can learn anything from you, it would be to live with JOY!

I will miss my birthday sister, but I know we'll celebrate our special days every year, for death never separates us as long as we keep our faith in God, who unites us all in love and eternal communion. Joy and Peace, Pastor Cornelia

God placed you in our lives for a season. You prayed for us, laughed with us, and most of all was our family. We will never forget you and that wonderful sense of humor. Thank you for all your advice from one Mom to another. You can now spend eternity with the Lord that you loved so much, and family you missed so much. God definitely needed some Joy in Heaven - now it is sweeter. Until we meet again our dear, sweet Granny Joy!!
