Jimmy Leach, 65, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born in Mt. Vernon on September 26, 1951 to Owen and Juanita Leach. Gone before him are his parents; brother, Shannon Leach; father-in-law, Hulon; and brothers-in-law, Gary, Dwayne, and Ken; and niece, Angela Beene.
Jimmy was a retired construction worker and a Fire Chief for Mount Vernon for over 20 years. He was also a Mason. He enjoyed hunting, riding his trike, playing with his dog Harley, and watching NASCAR and the western channel. He especially loved visiting his brother-in-law in Del Rio, Texas.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Karon Leach; one son, Heath Leach (Jamie) of Vilonia; one daughter, Natasha Bentley (Ken) of Enola; sister, Brenda Smith (Robby) of Conway; six grandchildren, Courtney, Cassie, Maylee, Molly, Hunter, and Paige; three great-grandchildren, Britlee, Bradley, and Sadie; mother-in-law, Clara Mae Kelly; In-laws, Gayola Porterfield, Lameta McMillen (Doug), Debbie Kelly, and Nena Kelly; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rosebud, Arkansas.

Karon, I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to believe that when we worked at the hospital together that you Jimmy and my brother Ronnie would be at the funeral home at the same time. My condolences and prayers to the family. There were few men as good as Jimmy Leach and the world was a better place for having him. He will be greatly missed by all. My family loved him dearly.
