Joyce, Howard and families - my heart has been with you today. Sorry I couldn't be there but my heart and prayers were there in spirit. I'm so glad that we finally connected our families through genealogy and that I got to come and visit with Dwayne and all of you earlier this month. You are all very dear and important in my life. I'll remember and cherish all the times we have spent together. Dwayne was a unique and special person.

To all of Dwayne's family: The video memorial brought back so many memories of long ago long lazy Sunday afternoons that were spent with the Reeves, Willards, Treats, Dovers, Chapmans, Pittaways, and the rest of the church family gathered at one house or the other. We'd enjoy a wonderful meal and lots of laughter, then the kids would head out to wade in the creek, play tag, have hula hoop contests, or other such games while the adults visited. Then we'd head back to church for the evening worship service full of good food and good fellowship. What a great group of people to grow up with! It is sad when we must say goodby to these wonderful Christian men and women who played such a part in our past, but the memories bring comfort and the hope we have in Jesus brings even more. My sympathy goes out to Joyce, Angie, Julie, Howard and all of Dwayne's family and friends.

We offer our condolences and pray for the family during this difficult time. May you look to the Lord for strength, comfort, and guidance. Dewayne was always a wonder person and so kind to both of us. He will certainly leave a void in this wonderful family. May your precious memories of him help fill the void until you see him again.

Aunt Joyce I am think of you and the girls and their families. Also Howard and Joan and their families. Uncle Dwayne alway had the best stories and I'll forever remember his Onry jokes. He use to pick on us something furious and where he left of Howard picked up. Great memories! I sorry we won't be able to attend his services as we have prior commitments with church camp and Pete is away working in Texas. Our thoughts, prayers and love our with you all.

Joyce, Angela, Julie, Howard and all the family. Today I got the phone call I never wanted. I knew it would come, but I didn't want it. As soon as I saw it was Larry I knew what the call meant. We want all of you to know that both Peggy and I are with you in your grief. We loved Dewayne dearly and we love all of you. There are no words to describe how I feel. I remember the first time we met. Long, long ago. We shared a lot of fun times in our teens and some times that were not so much fun, but are treasured memories. We will miss him a lot. We will miss our visits, when we would talk about our Military experiences and just about everything. We want all of you to know that we are here for you if you ever need anything. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. Clinton and Peggy
