Loleta Sams, 94, of Enola, Arkansas, went to be with The Lord Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was born January 28, 1923, in Naylor, Arkansas to the late George Washington and Maggie Magnolia (Bennett) Carmichael. Loleta, was also preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Sams; two sons, Johnny and Jimmy Brantley; two great-grandsons, Michael Lee and Johnathon Kuykendall; three sisters, Gladys Ballard, Mable Albert, and Lola Carmichael; and three brothers, G.W., H.P., and Floyd Carmichael.
Loleta was a member of the Sharon Freewill Baptist church in Naylor, Arkansas. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and going to basketball games with her family. She was very supportive of her family members. Loleta was loved very much by her friends and family, who will dearly miss her loving smile and positive attitude of life.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, daughters, Marilyn Crider of Mayflower, Carolyn and husband Alton Wall of Conway, and Shellia and David Jarvis of Enola; son, David Brantley and wife Jaime of Mountain Home; sister, Loudella Klimpt, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 33 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, July 21, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday at Roller- McNutt with interment to follow at Grissard Cemetery in El Paso, Arkansas with Reverend Alton Wall officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jason Brantley, Brent Garren, Shane Prater, Blake Poteete, Matthew Brantley, and Jimmy Brantley. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Brantley, Austin Poteete, and Ethan Brantley.
To all of my family. I'm so sorry I'm unable to make it to be with you all at this difficult time due to work. I'm sending prayers, hugs and love. I'm so sorry for the pain you are feeling. To my precious granny kiss Jesus and my daddy for me. I love you all. Helen
