Maxine E. Christian, 87, of Mountain View, Arkansas formerly of Timbo, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017. Maxine was born on August 2, 1929 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late James and Emma Simpson. Maxine was a homemaker and a secretary at the high school; she was good daughter, sister, wife, and mother who will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Elmer Christian of the home; two sons, Don Christian and wife Joni of Timbo, Arkansas and Terry Christian and wife Jamie of Florence, Arizona; two sisters Marilyn Daily of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jackie Poole of Mountain View, Arkansas; one brother, Larry Simpson of Greenwood, Arkansas; along with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, James and Emma Simpson.

There will be no services as Maxine has donated her body to UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
