William Dalton Wallis, 83, of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas died Saturday, July 15, 2017, in Little Rock.

Born June 2, 1934 in Big Flat, Arkansas he was the son of Anderson Wallis and Delphi (Pacemore) Wallis.

He retired with Limedale Mining Company.

Survivors include his wife, Linda (Melton) Wallis of Mount Pleasant; brothers, Donnie Wallis (Joyce) of Lonoke, Arkansas, Theo Gene Haddock of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Dwight Wallis of Texas and Dwayne Wallis of Malvern, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Anna Mae Long, Wanda Kay Stone and Orlane Wallis.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Melbourne with Bro. Kenny Tharp officiating.

Pallbearers will be Carroll Johnson, Donnie Wallis Jr., Anthony Wallis, William Stone and John Teague.

Burial will be in Nail Cemetery at Mount Pleasant under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.

Visitation is from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017, prior to the service.
