Brenda: you had a very sweet and special mother. I always enjoyed talking to her. I remember about her telling me about losing a lot of weight. After that she would eat a Snicker candy bar and drink a Diet Dr. Pepper every day to keep her weight down. Prayers go out to you and your family.

Death brings pain that time can only heal,
No words could ease what we truly feel;
But with God, her joy is eternally sealed,
And cherish her memories that death can't even steal.
Lift up a smile for she is already in the paradise.

My deepest Condolences

There are no words to express the magnitude of such a loss. Halogene was such a shining example of what a child of God represents. Her ready smile, wit, personality, love and compassion for her fellow man or woman, her genuine love for all people was evident in her aura of peace and love. The moment one met her one felt better just being in her presence. Her family learned it and passed it on. They are all good, kind people, Halogene and her dedication to the Lord and his teaching were passed right down to her family. She was such a beautiful light in this world, which has been dimmed only temporarily, until picked up my another family member. I have know her for many years, but have lost touch for many years, but I grieve today, as much,
for this beautiful life that touched mine in such a big way so many years ago. My prays and blessings of peace to you all.

I spent many years at Wooster, growing up there and being very involved in the church (possibly because dad was the preacher, but not the only reason). Mrs. Halogene was very special to all of us. She was such a sweet lady who loved the Lord. She is walking the streets of gold and smiling with each step. I hope she says Daddy and Wayne and they can walk together. My prayers are with you. Love to all
