Larry Wayne Smith, age 66, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee. Larry was born August 3, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Dorothy Smith. He was employed as a truck driver for around 30 years and attended West Acres Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Vent Wooten; daughter, Rebecca ''Becky'' Smith of Guy; twelve grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Murray of Benton and Brenda Bearden of Sardis, Mississippi; two brothers, Ron Smith (Debbie) of Little Rock and Darrell Smith of Thailand; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janice Markham; and two brothers-in-law.

A graveside service for Larry Smith will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Central Cemetery in Lexa. Brother Dale Gansman will officiate.

Mr. Smith's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
