I'm so sorry for your loss. He is with God now. He has been on my heart since hearing of his death. I didn't know him well. My daughter went to school at Episcopal Collegiate where he helped with Wildcat aftercare and the summer camps. All the kids seemed to love him. He was always smiling and such a pleasant and kind person. God
rest his soul.

David was an uncommonly kind and wonderful person. I believe that his death is a great loss not only for his friends and family, but for the entire community surrounding him. I hope that some justice can be found for this tragedy. David will be deeply missed.

David:
I loved you! From all the times you came to the pool, went on vacation, the long car drives, volunteering at your camps, subbing in my classes, to telling you how exactly to feed my dogs. I was devastated at the sound of your death. I would not and still don't believe this is happening. I am so sorry for all the times I was downright mean to you. I am so upset it was to late to apologize. You were one of the kindest people I knew. I am going to hate not seeing you while I am volunteering. If only you would have gone to the beach this year with us this could have been avoided. I love you David. I miss you

David was a truly special guy. Funny, eccentric, smart, great writer. But my favorite thing about David was his kindness. He recently befriended a homeless guy who stopped to help David when his car broke down. David ended up taking the guy to the hospital to get some much needed medical care and visited him regularly in the hospital until he was released since the guy had no family. David had a wide-open heart ❤️

David, I write this as a message to you.
The children and I were devastated to hear of your passing. It truly hasn't set in. All five of us shed tears and then began sharing the many happy memories we have of you (our family volunteering at Wildwood) and also the plans the kids had with you for later this summer!! Tyndall talked of her different volunteering promises to you, and the twins of their plans to see you for your amazing pet camp and Haskell's camp plans as well. All testaments to your love and dedication to Episcopal but also to its students. The kids just kept repeating he was just, so kind. He was just so nice. You will be missed Mr. David but the Dickinsons will never forget you!

David was such a kind and caring man, genuine in thought and action. Having worked with him for a couple of years before moving from Little Rock, I was blessed to know him. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.

David was one of my Good friends and he will truly be missed. I still remember the first day i met him in spain where we were stationed together. We both were new to the command and didnt know anyone there, so he started to talk to me and we were unseperable ever since. See David was a good person that loved everyone. He always had a smile on his face that just cheered you up. Especially there was one word that just made you smile and laugh all over. He would tell me, Frankie we are going out tonight. Me: No david its late and we work tomorrow. David would simply say "NEAT". David i love u and will miss u. I know we havent spoken in forever and a day but u never stopped being a part of my life. My God take you into his HOLY hands and welcome you into heaven. Keep a watch over us as we gained an angel. love u and NEAT.
