Arnita May Arnold, 89, of Jonesboro, passed away June 25, 2017. Born in Viola, Arkansas to George and Stella Phillips Lancaster, she was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, sewing, and piano. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and retired from Sears after 25 years of service.
Survivors include: son, Mark (Marie) Arnold, Sr.; daughter, Sherry (Hershel) Jones; grandchildren, Jill Forrester, Mark Arnold, Jr., Jennifer Degges, and Cameron Jones; great-grandchildren, Fox Forrester, Charlie Arnold, and Frankie Arnold.
Mrs. Arnold is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sterling Arnold; brothers, Troy Lancaster, Ivan Lancaster, and Bernard Lancaster, and her sister, Hazel Batterton.
A graveside service will be held at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro at 11:00 AM, Thursday June 29, 2017 with Rickard Akins officiating.
Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home will be in charge of services.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Arnold's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
