George E Oxner, 63, of Rondo, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born Thursday, March 25, 1954 to Jonas W. Oxner and Jessie Peterson Oxner.

Mr. Oxner is survived by one son, Shannon Oxner, of Kentucky; one daughter, Tabitha Oxner, of Ashville, North Carolina; two grandchildren, three sisters, Sue Hislip, of Rondo, Arkansas; Mary Swan (Tom), of Bradford, Arkansas; Betty Jo McClendon (Larry), of Marianna, Arkansas; three brothers, Jimmy Jackson, Des Arc, Arkansas; Pete Oxner, of Austin, Texas; Ricky Oxner, Rondo, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Norris, Carl and Randy Oxner and one sister, Connie Turley.

In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Ridge Crest Nursing and Rehab, 5504 Johnson Road, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.

Services for Mr. Oxner will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. also to be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Burial will follow services at Marianna Memorial Park.
