Norma Sue Buford, age 79, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 in Helena. Mrs. Buford was born February 25, 1938 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late James and Helen Harris. She loved arts and crafts, being a homemaker and cooking.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James ''Bud'' Buford; son, James Buford, Jr. of Helena; two daughters, Cindy Hanley and Tammy Bradley (Jacky), both of Helena; five grandchildren, Danielle Seaton (Troy), Brandy McGee (Carson), Cassie Jo Gehring (Andrew), Dana Bradley and Amy Long; five great-grandchildren, Blake Wood (Ashley), Hannah Wood, Dylan McGee, Bryce McGee and Scarlett Gehring; two great-great-grandchildren, Easton Wood and Kinlee Gilchrist; sister, Josephine Travis (Ed) of Cordova, Tennessee; two brothers, Jim Harris of Jonesboro and Danny Harris (Brenda) of Cordova;

Mrs. Buford was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, John Hanley.

A memorial service for Norma Buford will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
