of Batesville, AR
November 26, 1946 - June 9, 2017
Gary Lynn Bachman, 70, of Batesville, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017.
He was born on November 26, 1946 in Batesville, Arkansas to Richard ''Dick'' Douglas Bachman and Stella Mae (Patterson) Bachman.
Gary was sincere in his love for God and his family. He was content to remain quietly in the background being sure that needs of his family were taken care of and if a friend needed help, he would be there, expecting nothing in return. He was known for honesty and being a man of his word, holding those things in higher regard than monetary gain. He and wife, Pam, shared life together for 48 years, during which time they were privileged to raise two of the boys to be grown and married. The twins were taken into heaven at birth. He was a very proud Grandfather and sure to brag if he had an opportunity. His favorite place was the truck shop and he could be found there most any day of the week and afternoons and weekends, Pam would be there along by his side. There is many happy memories to be shared by his family and no words to describe how much he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Pam (O'Neal) Bachman of Batesville; two grandchildren, Dustin (Elisha) Bachman and Ashlyn Bachman both of Batesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Stella Bachman; and his four children, Eric Bachman, Shane Bachman, Ladd Bachman and Lynn Bachman.
Memorial Service to be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church officiated by Jonathan Baxter.
