Dear Tiffani (Tiff),
I am deeply saddened for you and your family in the passing of your father. I did not meet him but the photo speaks volumes and in reading some of the other post from those who knew him and had met him it confirmed what my first impressions were from that single smiling photo. I went on a men's retreat this past January and the topic was LEGACY and what we want ours to be. We will all leave one whether it is what we want it to be or what we allow it to be. What we invested in during our lives will be the Legacy that follows us after we are gone. I saw Angel's post and could not agree more. The character, love, and spirit of those who go on before us are not embodied in the material possessions we acquire and leave behind but instead live on in and out of the lives of those we leave behind. He sounded like someone I'd have gotten along with famously and he can teach me, among other things, how to be a better welder when I get to meet him by and by.

May fond memories be your comfort and may the spirit of the Holy Spirit descend on all of your family bringing the Peace of Christ and the triumph that we have in Him! 1st Corinthians 15: 42 - 44

Sincerely,

Bert Ivey and Family
