Brenda Jo Roberts

of Atkins, AR

February 14, 1948 - May 26, 2017

Brenda Roberts, age 69, of Atkins, Arkansas, born February 14, 1948, in Harrison, passed away peacefully at home Friday morning, May 26, 2017. She was most commonly known as ''Mamaw'' by her grands, great-grands, many of her grandkids high school friends and all of ''The Cove'' kids. She was asleep in her favorite recliner wearing her comfy jammies when God decided that He was ready for her beautiful soul to return to return to Heaven. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Melvin Woodworth, and her devoted and loving husband Jimmie ''Jim'' Roberts.

Brenda is survived by her momma, Agnes (Villines) Woodworth; her brother, Devoe (Linda) Woodworth; her sisters, Melva Kitchens, Peggy Roberts, and Rita Woodworth; her children; Tami Haralson and David Roberts; her grandkids, Ashley (Shane) Lenardt, Bryan (Emmy) Hrnjak, and Josh (Airica) Hrnjak; and the 12 real loves of her life, her great-grandkids, Rylen Collins, Landon Davis, Jayden Hrnjak, Alexia Lenardt, Patrick Lenardt, Darerick Hrnjak, Maecee Hrnjak, Adyson Hrnjak, Brittley Hrnjak, Marley Hrnjak, Lyrik Hrnjak and Jaxton Hrnjak and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

If you met Brenda, you loved her, simple as that. If she loved you, you were loved unconditionally, no doubts. She had a heart bigger than the sun. She was the most selfless and generous soul. She would literally give you her last dollar and be genuinely happy to help you. This world is just a little less bright without her in it. Whoever knew her as Brenda, Mom, Mamaw or Mommy, your life was richer for knowing her and she will be deeply missed, until we get to see her again.

Visitation was Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Graveside service was Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Alpena Cemetery.

Dearest Family,
Brenda was my best friend and sister for more than 40 years. We worked together for many years at the Top Rock before I married her only brother. She was the most kind-hearted person I have ever known. Whenever I needed anything, Brenda was there. I know she loved me as much as I loved her. I will miss her terribly but I know that Brenda's pain is now over. Rest in peace sweet sister till we see you again.
Love to all the family.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
