Zoe Ann Gruber age 66, of Midway, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, in Mountain Home. She was born March 26, 1951 in California to Charles and Ada Joy Kern. Her marriage to Nicholas Gruber spanned 46 years and 10 months.
Zoe Ann worked as a clerk for ATT for nearly 30 years before retiring with Nicholas and moving from Aurora, Illinois to Midway, where they have lived for nine years. During that time Zoe Ann enjoyed the fellowship of the Mountain Home Baptist Church and was engaged in the activities of the Hill and Hollow Quilting Guild, the Material Girls of Bull Shoals, and the VFW Post 3246 Auxiliary.
Zoe Ann is survived by her husband, Nicholas of Midway, and her faithful nurse, Casey, by two brothers: Tim (Vicki) Kern of Illinois and Terry (Joie) Kern of Virginia, as well as by two nieces, two nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Roller Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Knight officiating. Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House or Mountain Home Baptist Church. I am so sorry to hear of Zoe Ann's passing. We all know she's in a better place, no more pain and suffering! I knew Zoe Ann through the local Quilt Guild and she often came in to my quilt shop. Always so upbeat and positive...we will miss her!
So sorry to hear of Zoe Ann's passing. She was my dear friend and sister in Christ. We attending Grace Bible Church in Aurora together and I will never forget her sincere devotion to her Savior and her husband and then to her church family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Nick and any other family. May the LORD grant you peace as you trust in Him.

I am sorry for your loss. But know in God's Word the Bible found at Revelation 21:4 which says, He will wipe out every year from their eyes and death will be no more and death will be no more, neither mourning, nor pain be anymore. Look forward to this wonderful promise.
