It is sad to know that you are gone, my too-young-to-die nephew. I remember fondly the moments we shared with your mother, and your great love for baseball (a game that I too love). Your friends, who love you for the kindnesses you have shown to them, are the best evidence that you loved others. Rest in peace, Todd. Uncle Ed.

I was blessed to have known Todd for the last 10+ years. He was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand up. Sometime he gave when he had nothing himself. He was definitely one of a kind and will be missed.

Prayers for the family of this kind man. He was my favorite umpire. He always built my son up and made him feel good about the job he was doing catching. He had a wonderful presence and his love for the game and kids will forever be missed. God speed Todd Hastings. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for all you have done in the baseball community. Rest easy. Your work here is done
