I just saw Mr. Kellar's name listed in the ARTA interlink mailer and was saddened to read of his passing. I worked under his direction at Baring Cross School in N.L.R and have fond memories of my time there. He had a heart for children with special needs and was my favorite principal to work with. My prayers are with the family.

Mrs. Kellar and Family,

I am so so sorry to hear of Mr. Kellar's passing. I have many fond memories of him. He was a wonderful principal, and I remember spending a lot of time in his little store buying pokemon cards as a kid. Mrs. Kellar, you helped me through one of the hardest times in my life, and if you need anything at all, please reach out to me. I will be praying for the family.

To Johnny's family,

I have known Johnny Keller all my life. We grew up together in Martinville and went to school for 12 years, riding the bus every day until we were old enough to have a car to drive. He had the most wonderful dry humor. His "snicker" laugh reminded me of Scooby Doo. I spoke to him at great length 5 years ago when we were planning our 46th class reunion and we caught up on each others life. He told me he had a near death experience when he had his heart attack and that he had absolutely no fear of death. He grieved for his wife and her illness and he wished to go when she did. He spoke proudly of his sons and their families. He is gone too soon, but his father also died young of heart related illness. You all are in my prayers. I can see that sly smile of his now. Blessings,

Johnny was such a great person. He hired me in NLR to work at Baring Cross and then later at Greenbrier. Such a kind, gentle man who loved our special needs students. He will be missed. My prayers are for God's grace to heal and hold you all now and in the days to come.

Diane, Tony, & Nolan - I'm so sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. Looking back, I remember the good times we had at the baseball games, and the times Johnny would snicker instead of laugh, especially when Jackie Griffin was entertaining us! Those were some good times for all of us. Johnny was always such a gentleman and so kind to all of us. Praying for all of you during this difficult time.
