Danny Grover Knight, Jr., 12, of Vilonia went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 11, 2017. He was born September 13, 2004, the son of Danny Grover Knight, Sr. and Jaclyn Halea (Horton) Knight.
Danny was enrolled in the sixth grade at Frank Mitchell Intermediate School and an honor roll student. He loved basketball, football, video games, and swimming in the summer with his brother and sister. Danny had a great sense of humor and a big heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Danny is survived by his parents, sister, Brooklyn, brother, Stanley, maternal grandparents, Jackie and Lynda Horton, paternal grandparents, Patricia Holland, Al Knight and Peggy Knight (step-grandmother) and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00p.m. Monday, May 15th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Bro. Tim Nolan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vilonia Youth Football Association, P.O. Box 892, Vilonia, AR 72173.

We did not know Danny, but we regret the sorrow you feel - we grieved the loss of two sons who were just a little older than Danny. We can tell you that as time passes you will be able to remember more of the good times and dwell less on the loss of Danny. We found that each person grieves in a different way and at different times, so we encourage each of you to allow for those differences in your families.
We are of the Christian faith and as we dealt with our pain we came to understand that God is still sovereign. May you find comfort as you walk through this “valley of the shadow of death” and may friends share their good memories of Danny with you.

Jaclyn and Daniel,
There are no words available to express the sorrow in my heart for y'all. I've tried several times to contact you but, each time I fall short. I am a sinner who deeply loves your whole family. I beg you both to forgive me for my imperfections... It is easy saying good-bye to old people, sick people, and the terminally ill... Danny was in the prime of his life and although we KNOW he is in a perfect place, in our selfishness... we miss him completely, truly, deeply.

Dear Danny, Danny Jr is the spitting image of you!!!
It's been many years love-but love lives on. It's a comfort of a sort to know he is now with my son-John. They are with the Lord and shall stay forever young.
I think of you all often and just know my heart feels your great loss.
God be with you and your family as you struggle to find solace, may the Lord wrap His arms around you and hold you.

Danny was one of my best friends and for the short time I knew him, he was a great boy. He made everyone smile and was the best friend I could have. I'm sad I can't come to the funeral but I'm glad I got to meet him in my life time. I'm praying for y'all and hope something good will come out of all of this. I'll miss him but I'm glad I got to meet him and he made me smile all the time.
