Larry Wayne Fuller

of North Little Rock, AR

December 16, 1964 - April 27, 2017

Larry Wayne Fuller, age 52, passed away, Thursday, April 27, 2017. Born to Gene Fuller and the late Jo Anne Farley Westall, on December 16, 1964, in Long Beach, California.

Fuller graduated from Ole Main High School, NLR in 1984. Shortly after in 1985, while riding on the back of his buds motorcycle down by Camp Robinson, he met the love of his life Sheila Rene Cauldwell. They married on March 28, 1986. Fuller started working with Baptist Hospital and continued with them for 30+ years. During that time, he and Sheila were blessed with two children; Nicholas and Jennifer. He enjoyed life and looked forward to all that it offered: Taco Tuesday with Gordy, Annette and Cathie. Yearly trips to Danville to go deer hunting, all kinds of music, fishing with friends, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Razorbacks during their basketball and football seasons not to mention weekly poker and pool night with Buddy's. Fuller was a man who loved to tell corny jokes and make people laugh. He loved his family and extended family…if you were a friend to Fuller, than you were considered ''family''. He was a man who had a positive outlook on life, always present…always available.

The family would like to thank the Baptist Health Medical Center family (especially the OR Staff) for being such great co-workers/friends. A special thank you to Charles Pharis and Tommy Kidd (along with the ER Staff at Baptist Health Medical Center, Springhill) for their dedication and service to Sheila and the kids during a most difficult time.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Jo Anne Farley Westall, his mother-in-law; Phyllis Cauldwell, Uncle Joe Rhineheart, his buddy; Alton Jay ''Tinker'' Milum, his grand-cats; Harry, Riley and Neko. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife; Sheila Rene Cauldwell Fuller, his son; Nicholas Fuller and his daughter; Jennifer Fuller, all of North Little Rock. Along with his Grand-Dogger; Jersey Jo, two brothers; John Fuller of Fayetteville and Paul Fuller of North Little Rock, three nieces; Amanda and Sarah Fuller of Fayettville and Andrea Fuller of North Little Rock. His godson; Branndon Martin. His ray of sunshine, sis-in-law; Angie Cauldwell, his ''Boo''; Larry (Tanya) Martin and his best bud; Dean Miner, Aunt Ruth Rieder (Bill), Uncle David Rhineheart (Rita) of Paris, AR , Sheila Rhineheart of Little Rock, and numerous cousins and friends.

And always Remember "You may be full ---- but I'm Fuller"

Working with Larry was such a pleasure and nothing will ever replace his quick wit, corny jokes and his FAMOUS FULLER CHEESE DIP at our Potluck Days in the OR. His absence this week was certainly noticed and such a void amongst our co-workers. I know Larry that you are smiling down on all of us, but enjoying the fact that your walking streets of gold and Catching the Biggest Fish ever up in Heaven. Rest in Peace my friend~ you will be missed but not forgotten.

I was saddened to hear of Larry's passing. We went to High School together and he was also my neighbor at one time. The last time I saw Larry at the hospital it was like old times. He was still my friend. Sheila, I will pray for you and the children that God will comfort you through this sad time.

I worked with Larry for 18 years at BHMC-NLR. He was an honest and good worker. I enjoyed most of Larry's corny jokes; they would put a smile on your face even if you didn't appreciate them. I have missed hearing the "tall tales" he had and little known facts about animals and musicians. My thought upon hearing of Larry's untimely death is "who is going to tell us corny jokes now?". Larry will be missed by all.

I was so shocked and sad to hear that Larry left us so soon - way too soon. I met him in 1989 when I first came to work in the O.R. at Baptist Hospital on Pershing. He was a friend to all of us. We worked together every day and sometimes late in the night on call. We swapped stories and stayed up to date on each others lives. What a loving husband, father, and friend he is! He talked about his kids every day. Though I have not seen him since 2014, I am sad I won't see those sweet brown eyes and that friendly smile again. I love ya, Larry.

Hard to believe your gone my friend. I know I wasn't part of your inner circle but I know the kind of person you we're, always willing to help someone in need. You and I have known each other twenty +years. Yea you told all those corney jokes when we would be hunting. You'll be missed my friend. I know there's a party/celebration going on right now that the rest of us can only imagine, what you are seeing, who you are seeing all of this and your the guest of honor. Till we meet again. Ken

I worked with Larry at Baptist NLR for 10 years in the O.R. Although I wasn't a morning person, Larry definitely was and he always greeted me the same way each morning, "what's up Shay?" and always with the biggest smile. He was always willing to help out wherever he could and went extra steps to make your day just a little bit bettet. Larry you truly were a great guy with some of the worst jokes but that's what made them and you funny! You will be missed dearly dude!

So very sad to hear this!! What a loving man. He would help anyone. One story I remember was he always held the elevator for me when he would see me coming with a cart of 125 fluids (IV) and would even offer to push it for me. He always said HI!!! Just made you feel appreciated!!! What a gentleman. I will be in prayer for your family!!! I'm so very sorry!!!

I met Larry years ago in chat-web chat site. What a wonderful man he was. Always had good things to say and was such a funny man. We became chat friends and he was always just making people laugh and always there for anyone. I am lost for words to hear this sad news. What a Great Man! I pray the Lord will comfort his family now and know they will see him again one day. I will miss him greatly even though we hadn't talked much these pass years it was nice knowing he was always there. I have lost a good friend words just cant express.

I just cant wrap my head around all this yet but...I probably never will...but here goes...Larry was one of the most loving and devoted husband/dad/friend I have ever met. He loved life and he lived life. Deer camp, fishing, shooting pool and taking Sheila on vacation for their wedding anniversary just to name a few things he loved. He wasn't perfect but he was perfect for Sheila, Jen' and Nick. He called me "Brown Sugar" and he was my "White Powder" sugar. I love this family and always will. I pray that God sends you all the love and comfort you need. Sleep tight Larry...'til we meet again. And to Sheila, my BFF...Smooch-smooch...I love you

I only knew Larry for a short time. He ALWAYS made everyone's day brighter. He would always come to help us in the recovery room to transport our patients to their rooms no matter how busy he was. He would tell them all "hi I'm Larry and I'm here to push you around". No matter how bad they were hurting or how sleepy they were, it always got a laugh out of them. He will truly be missed. Sorry for your loss.
