Jack Owen Linton passed away on April 9, 2017 in Hot Springs, AR. He was born to Owen Paxton and Rebecca Linton on August 20, 1928 in Perry, Florida. He worked in the Power Plant at Alcoa in Benton, AR for 41 years.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kathleen Linton LaClair. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lynn Watson Linton and his daughters Joyce Linton McHone (Ron) of Hot Springs and Karen Linton of Benton; one grandson Chad Owen Fellers (Ronni) of Little Rock and three great grandchildren Owen, Jenna, and Paxton; his brother Kenneth Linton (Joyce); and several nieces and nephews.
Jack Linton was a Korean War veteran, one of his proudest accomplishments. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton for 65 years and was a faithful servant. His family will remember him as a Christ follower, provider, and loyal friend.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Roller Ballard Funeral home in Benton with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Benton Student Ministries or Arkansas Hospice.
Joyce, i am sorry to hear about your father. What a sweet Homecoming awaited him in the presence of those who went Home before him. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Our lives have certainly been blessed by our Godly fathers and mothers. May God bring you peace and comfort.
