Essie Fae Ford, 88 of St. James died April 6, 2017. She was born December 3, 1928 in St. James, Arkansas to James T. and Essie Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents, a great nephew, and two of her brothers; Hollis Ford of St. James and J.T. Ford of Batesville, Arkansas.
Essie Fae is survived by two brothers; Jack Ford (Helen) of St. James and Cooper Ford (Helen) of Cody, Nebraska. Also surviving are two sister-in-laws; Earnestine Ford of St. James and Betty Cowden of Batesville. She had many nieces and nephews that survive her.
She was active in the St. James Methodist Church, serving as treasurer and secretary for many years. Essie Fae was a talented seamstress and worked at the Blanchard Shirt Factory until retirement.
Funeral Services will be held at the St. James Methodist Church the 10th day of April 2017 at 2:00PM with Pastor Paul Coy officiating. Visitation will from 1:00PM- 2:00PM before the service.
Pallbearers are Talburt Ford, Jeff Nesbitt, Jason Conner, Shane Ford, Scott Davis, Roger Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Hall, Dean Hall, James Brian Ford, Dwight Ford, and Tim Ford.
Memorial Donations may be made to the St. James Methodist Church.
