Maxine Casey Shepard 72, of Hartman, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2017 in Hartman, AR. Maxine was born July 19, 1944 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Ella May Casey. Maxine was a retired Wal-Mart office clerk and home maker who loved shopping, gardening in her flower beds, doing Laundry, Being a secretary to James, and going site seeing. Maxine had a great sense of humor, and could always make you laugh. Mrs. Shepard is preceded in death by her Mother.

Maxine is survived by her husband James Shepard of Hartman; one daughter Gay Sparks of Nashville TN; two sons David and Cindy Shepard of Coal Hill, AR; Doug and Misty Shepard of Ardmore, AL; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
Mrs. Shepard's Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday April 9, 2017 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 10, 2017 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Devo Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at the Shepard family Cemetery with Wes Mitchell, Mike Minniear, Brian Bazyk, Gary Baker, Carl Maze, and Jerry Winford serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Arthur Brandenburg, and Dean Moody
