Danny Phelps was born November 29, 1934 in Col Hill, Arkansas to Lewis Phelps and Genora Allen. He passed away on Marach 25, 2017 in Coal Hill, Arkansas. He served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956 and retired from Tyson Foods.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Carolyn Phelps, 5 brothers, Ray, David, Tommy Donny Phelps and Larry Hurst and Yule Morris. Three Surviving sisters, Margaret Thomas of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Sharon and Mary Morris both of Ft Smith, Arkansas. Five Children Cynthia Johnson and husband Bill of Scranton, Arkansas, Kattie McPhail and husband Mac of Charlottesville, Virginia, Donna Hedrick of Russellville, Paul McGlaun and wife Judy of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Daniel Phelps of Paris, Arkansas. Nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. James Rector officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Hill Cemetery with, Paul Ray McGlaun, Joe Hall, Jared Wood, Mason Hall, Joe Lucas, and Brodric Cemental serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Hall, Dylan Wood, Logan Wood, Drake Bacchus, Jamie Roop, Jackson Roop, and Nat Dickerson.
