Judy Anne Sturgeon

of Cabot, AR

May 22, 1958 - March 24, 2017

Judy Anne Sturgeon 58, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born May 22, 1958 in Logansport, Indiana
to John H. and Mary J. (Warman) Pope, Jr.

Our sweet JuJu was so special to so many of us. She lived her life serving others with kindness, sweetness, goodness, love, and compassion every day. She grew up in a family of six kids and had many adventures in numerous places growing up. She loved to ride horses. She was very creative and painted and drew beautiful pictures. She loved flowers and birds and was so giving in every aspect of her life. Those of us who knew her never heard one harsh word from her. She loved God and her family with all of her heart. She had a kind word and compliment for every person that entered her life....even a stranger who merely passed her by. We will be forever grateful for all of her hard work and sacrifices she made for each and every one of us. She will be greatly missed but we know that she's riding horses on the wind. God must have really needed a special angel on March 23, 2017.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donnie Gene Sturgeon of Cabot, AR; daughter, Lisa Anne Rogers (Jonathan) of Indialantic, FL;
four grandchildren, Eva Anne Rogers, Gunther Christian Rogers, Maximilian Lukas Rogers, and Greta Jeanne Rogers,
parents, Mary J. Pope and John H. Pope, Jr., two sisters, Phyllis Ann Walden (Harold) of Sherwood, AR;
and Rebecca Lynn Webb (Timothy) of North Augusta, SC; three brothers, John. M. Pope of Little Rock, AR;
David M. Pope (Febra) of Colorado Springs, CO; and Daniel T. Pope of Penrose, CO; and many close friends.

Pallbearers: Jonathan Rogers, Tim Webb, Eddy York, Zachary Brown, Ed York, Harold Walden and Patrick Taylor.

Visitation will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Conway, Arkansas Tuesday, March 28, 2017

I never met Judy face to face,but she always brought joy to my heart when she'd call me to place orders over the phone. She'd always be in a good mood and it was always wonderful to hear her voice. She'd always call me when her koi got hungry and I'd send her fish food every other month or so. Today i heard that she passed away, and I'm so sorry to hear the news. Judy was a lovely and spirited person. Our conversations were sometimes over an hour long and I don't think we spoke much about her koi fish or what she was ordering. She wanted to take the time to find out how I was doing and what I was up to. She was such a caring lady, and I'll cherish the times we spoke for ever and ever.

Judy was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She was always, kind, compassionate, and gracious. She loved her family and treasured every moment with them. Donnie, she loved and appreciated the life you had together. She told me you and your children her dream come true. Best wishes to all of you.
