Ethel Mae Hargrove, 98, of Searcy passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was born January 24, 1919 in Judsonia, Arkansas to the late Allie and Jessie Page.

She was preceded in death by Lovie Ransom Butler and Uzell Boyd Hargrove, Two sons; Larry U. Hargrove, and Jerry Thomas Hargrove, one daughter; Carolyn Jane Alvarez and Seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters; Joyce Foreman of Searcy and Joan Bauer (Robert) of Garrison, ND. , And many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Ethel loved to shop and travel. She enjoyed her frequent visits to Hawaii. She also enjoyed music. She especially loved Gospel songs and Johnny Cash. She also enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday March 27, 2017 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday March 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at White County Memorial Gardens.
