Leroy McInturff, age 94 of Harrison, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 at River Valley Hospice in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on February 6th, 1923 to Earnest McInturff and Roxie Mason McInturff.

Leroy began working with the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and worked for one year before leaving to join the US Navy where he served during WWII. After time served in the Navy, Leroy worked for 33 years at Flexsteel in Harrison, Arkansas where he was Union Steward for many years. Leroy spent all of his life in Searcy and Boone County where he enjoyed farming and working the land. He was a lifetime member of the Flintrock Saddle Club. He was instrumental in the organization of the Burr Oak School Reunion for the last 5 years. Leroy loved listening to bluegrass music, gardening and fishing when health and time allowed. He was a strong, steady, quiet influence on the lives of those who knew him best and will be missed by friends and family alike.

Leroy is survived by his granddaughter, Sebrena Westcott and husband Eric of Russellville; great-grandchildren, Ronald ''Tiger'' Westcott and wife Emily and Jeremiah Westcott; great-great grandchild, Ella Ann Westcott; two sisters, Modene Steen of Harrison and Carol Choate of Kansas City, MO; brother, Keith McInturff (Virginia) of Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.
Leroy is also survived by his step-children, Eddie Carter and wife Debbie of Rogers and Diana Rose and husband Robert of Harrison; step-grandchildren, Beth (Shane) Andreasen, Dan (Christy) Carter and Kristin (John) Morgan; and step-great-grandchildren, Luke Andreasen, Valerie Andreason, Blake Carter, Ellie Carter and Keegan Morgan.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Leta Smithson McInturff and Kathy Hensley McInturff; one daughter, Rose Lee Chamberlain; great-great granddaughter, Adalynn Grace Westcott; and siblings, his twin brother, Devoy, JB, Ernestine, Wanda, Shirley and Gail.

Funeral services for Leroy will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 25th, 2016 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Arvin Adams and Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, March 24th at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison, Arkansas. Burial will be in Dongola Cemetery near Marshall. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
