Earnest Lee McGuire, 79 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Ozark. Mr. McGuire was born February 16, 1938 in Patterson Springs to Mr. Lewis and Anne (Radford) McGuire. He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Grace Ritchie, Emmer Poteet, Lillie Boen and Martha Ritchie; and four brothers, Will McGuire, Deamous McGuire James McGuire, and Johnny McGuire.

Mr. McGuire is survived by his nieces and nephews; Reba (David) Landthrip, Norma (Rande) Smith, Denia (Ray) Sissom, Lindell (Sherry) Poteet, Linda Dewberry, Wanda Poteet, Lorraine Ritchie, Audrey (Loretta) Poteet, and Larry (Ann) Ritchie; one special great-niece, Lisa (Robert) Mitchell.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Jamestown Assembly of God Church, with Bro. Audrey Poteet officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery, with Robert Mitchell, Austin Mitchell, Rande Smith, Lisa Mitchell, Brian Landthrip and Larry Ritchie serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven McGuire, Jr., Dustin Mitchell, David Landthrip, Clint Dewberry, Lindell Poteet, Shorty Mentzer, Teddy Ritchie, and Robbie Ritchie.
