Uda Mae Petschke, 88, died March 13, 2017 at Mountain View Health and Rehab in Mountain View Arkansas.
She was born January 17, 1929 in Fifty Six, Arkansas to Jesse and Avis (Wallace) Balentine. Uda Mae was a very religious woman and of the Church of God faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and an extremely hard worker in her life.
Uda Mae married Johnny E. Butler on April 17, 1948. To this union were born six children. Upon nineteen years of marriage, Uda Mae lost her husband on September 20, 1967. Later on in life she married Mike Petschke of Portland, Indiana. They were married almost twenty-five years, and then she lost her second husband January 6, 1995.
Survivors include her six children; two daughters, Connie Richardson of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Shirley Brinkerhoff of Portland, Indiana; four sons, Jim and wife Judy, Jerry and wife Debbie, and John and wife Alice all of Fifty Six, Arkansas, and Rick and wife Vicki Butler of Kingston, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Eurene Nosbisch, Cloy and husband Frankie McWilliams, and Linda Balentine all of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Ruby and husband Webster Walts of Booneville, Arkansas; two brothers, E.G. Balentine and Bob and wife Gloria Balentine, both of Mountain View, Arkansas; and one sister-in-law, Geraldine Balentine of Smyrna, Tennessee; as well as extended family and friends.
Uda Mae was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and a brother, A.C. Balentine.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Roller Coffman Funeral Home from 6:30-8 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday March 16, 2017 at Flatwoods Baptist Church, at 2 PM. Burial will be at Fifty Six Cemetery, Fifty Six, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are grandsons; Dr. Stacy Richardson, Dr. Travis Richardson, Matt Butler, Jeremy Butler, Kyle Kunkle, Sean Kunkle, and Kaleb Butler.
Roller Coffman Funeral Homes was in Charge of the arrangements.
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Uda Mae, my prayers will be with all of you during this time, it is just a parting for a little while.
May you let our Lord carry you during your time of sadness. There will be a glad reunion day.....
