Daniel Clayton Fetherolf 69, of Conway passed from this life on March 3rd. He was born August 28, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clayton and Helen Fetherolf.
Danny met his wife Shirley White while attending the University of Arkansas and they were married for over 43 years, until her death in December 2014. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's of Arts in history in 1970 and a Master of Business Administration in 1977. Danny soon found employment with Rockwell International and stayed with them for 11 years until he took a position as a Human Resources Manager at Avery Dennison in Cleveland, Ohio. The winters were cold in Cleveland so after a few years he went to work for DeZurik Corporation in McMinnville, Tennessee. His career didn't stop there he also worked as Human Resources Manager for Norandal and Almatis until he retired.
Danny liked to stay busy and worked part time even after he retired as a Park Interpreter at several Arkansas state parks conducting hikes and tours because he loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed watching Razorback football, traveling, and spending time with family and friends when he wasn't working.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Shirley Fetherolf. Danny is survived by his sister, Madonna Fetherolf, brother, Stephen Fetherolf, and members of his wife's family: Ruth and Danny Conklin, Mary and Roger Peterson, Nancy and John Turley, Tommy and Patti White, George White and Michael White.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, March 9, 2017 and Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Conway, Arkansas with Bro. Harold Claassen officiating. Interment following at McNew Cemetery, Greenbrier, AR.
I will miss your visits, your gentle manners and, your sense of humor. I am glad you will be with the love of your life.
We will miss this Daniel. Heaven has gained a true gentleman.
