David and I are sorry we are not able to attend the funeral of my Beloved Mother due to serious health reasons. We send our love and prayers to my family and friends and loved ones. We have the blessed hope that we will be re-united with her when Jesus comes for His own. Mom touched many live's through her love for Jesus and her service as a midwife. I am thankful for the close relationship we had through the years and shall miss her very much.

I'm very sorry that I cannot attend the funeral services for my wonderful Grandmother. She will always be a part of my life. In the stories I read to my children and grandchildren and the love for the Lord that she showed me every time I was with her. I remember the summers spent with her in Arkansas. Running wild in her yard and climbing in caves with bats! She taught me and my husband many herbal remedies and how to deliver babies in our home. Thank you for being my grandmother, midwife, herbal expert, and teacher of the Bible. I will love and miss you. My only regret is that we didn't live closer to each other so we had more time together. But we will have plenty of time when we meet you in heaven. Love you Grandma B. -Sarana

Valli's mom, Jordis Bostwick, always treated me like one of her own sons. Whenever we needed her, she was always there. I remember when I was facing military service during the Vietnam War, she reminded me that God would be with Valli and me as I did my duty. She lived out her relationship with Christ with a quiet grace. She watched our three children in 1975 for ten days so we could go on a honeymoon to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. When our daughter Vanessa was born, she came to Michigan to help with the kids. As a midwife she delivered our granddaughter, Johanna Stolar. Her pain and suffering are over and she is with her husband Frank and the Lord she so loved and served. We will miss her, but we know she is in a better place.

Ms. Bostwick was a special lady that I will always remember with fondness. I considered her a special friend and always admired her faith in the Lord. Some of my fondest memories are when I first started attending the Clarksville’s Seventh Day Adventist Church and she would always sit with me. She made a point to always ask me to stay for fellowship meals and would sit by me at those meals. Ms. Bostwick invited me numerous times to her home after church services for lunch and sometimes I would go and we would sit and talk on the back porch and enjoy her flowers and the sunshine. She was a great mentor for my spiritual journey.
I loved hearing her tell stories about being a midwife. In the 1980’s she delivered my niece and one of my best friend’s babies. I loved that special lady in so many ways and will dearly miss her. May the Lord give comfort to her family during this time of loss.

Sad to hear of the passing of my grandmother, Jordis, but glad that she is at peace in heaven with my grandfather, Frank, and our Heavenly Father. The last time we spoke it was clear that she was ready to go home! I have many wonderful memories of visiting my grandma at her home in Clarksville, with my parents Don and Valli, when I was a child. I will never forget these times and will cherish them, and the memory of my grandma forever!

Love you mrs Jordis you was truly a friend. I remember when you came over to my house and we talk and I told you that I spend to much time on the computer instead of reading the Bible .you being the kind woman that you was wanted to pray for me, well needless to say when I went to use my computer it did not work again. So I always said if u didn't mean what u ask mrs Jordis to pray about you better not ask her. I have so many fond memories with you. I love you and you will definitely be missed
