Iva Lee Duncan, age 90 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 at Ozark Health in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born in Fredrick, Oklahoma on February 21st, 1927 to Arthur Mathis and Nellie Ballard Mathis.

Iva attended Welcome Home Church and Marshall Assembly of God Church. She was married to the love of her life, Guy Duncan for 75 years and they had three amazing daughters. Iva was a wonderful wife, mother and woman of the Lord. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and share good times with her friends and family. She enjoyed watching sports, PBR Rodeo, Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys or her very favorite, watching her grandchildren play ball. Iva was a wonderful cook and for many years she cooked Sunday Dinner for her family. She was a hard worker all of her life. Iva was very supportive and never gave up on any of her children. Her strong and gentle presence will be missed by those close to her.

Iva is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Evelyn (Sis) Brown and Nettie Mathis; and brothers, Butch Mathis, Everett Mathis, Orvin Mathis and Bill Mathis; grandsons, Russell Kelley and Rocky Smith; and son-in-law, Robert Kelley.
Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Guy Duncan; daughters, Barbara Ann Duncan of Marshall, Deborah Gail Kelley of Billings, Montana and Gilda Sue Duncan, also of Marshall; grandchildren, Chuck (Val) Seaton, Charmaine Seaton, Carla (Billy) Burnshire, Cathy Barr, Tracy Morris, Toni (Kiko) Nantes,Teresa Kelley, Jamie Kelley, Caley (Christa) Smith, Joci Sullivan, and Randy (JayLynn) Kelley; great-grandchildren, Kristina Lynch, Kyle Blevins, Codi Warrington, Dwana Johnson, Cari Seaton, Chaase Tabuso, Tatum Reim, Madisun Ratchford, Noah Nantes, Angela Lamas, Benjamin Lamas, Phoenex Smith, Rocky Smith, Trevor Morris, Bailie Barr, Katie Barr, Dylan Burnshire, Chelcee Seaton, Robert Kelley and Sara Kelley; great-great grandchildren, Ford Reim, Felix Tabuso, Anthony Blevins, Vincent Blevins, Isabella Blevins, Jozi Westcott, Paige Kelley and Piper Kelley; one sister, Sue (David) Sisson of Oklahoma; and brothers, Doug (Sybil) Mathis of Oklahoma and Jimmy Mathis of Oregon.

Funeral services for Iva will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Roy Ragland and Bro. Phillip Clark officiating. Burial will be in Chinquapin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chuck Seaton, Tracy Morris, Caley Smith, Mike Smith, Trevor Morris and Billy Burnshire. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Mathis, Jimmy Mathis, Rocky Smith, Benjamin Lamas, Dylan Burnshire, Randy Kelley, Ron Hubbard and Gary McDaniel.
