December 7, 1959 - February 23, 2017

Louis Paul Parish, 57, of Bee Branch, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was born December 7, 1959 to the late L.D. and Paula (French) Parish.

He is survived by his wife Loretta (Edwards) Parish, 4 daughters: Rachel Thomas (Billy) of Bee Branch, Arkansas; Heather Pfrenger (Jim) of Conway, Arkansas; Katie Gross (Winston) of Bee Branch, Arkansas; and Kara Parish of Bee Branch, Arkansas and 6 grandchildren: Eli Thomas, Maria Solis, Marley Pfrenger, Mariella Pfrenger, Marcie Pfrenger, and Lilah Gross. He is also survived by 4 sisters: Rhonda Parish of Orlando, Florida; Charlotte Ward (Rick) of Bee Branch, Arkansas; Jan Dawson (Mark) of Skiatook, Oklahoma; Melissa Parish of Damascus, Arkansas; and niece and nephews: Cade Ward, Stacey and Clint Dawson.

Louis began his career as a dairy farmer. Following 19 years in the dairy business, he had various other jobs ranging from working as a mechanic, to working as a roustabout with Stephen Mahan Construction, but his heart remained with farming. After his retirement, Louis decided to get back to doing what he loved and started L & E Angus. He was able to enjoy farming alongside his grandchildren.

Most importantly, Louis was a Christian. He was a member of the Quitman Church of Christ. Louis served on the Hardin Cemetery Board.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hardin Cemetery Fund.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton.

TIMES WHEN A LOVED ONE PASSES ARE VERY DIFFICULT ON THOSE THAT REMAIN IN THIS LIFE. NO ONE REALLY KNOWS HOW MANY, AND IN WHAT WAY, THEIR LIFE HAS AFFECTED OTHERS. THE MENTION THAT LOUIS WAS A CHRISTIAN IS THE MOST COMFORTING WORDS THAT CAN BE UTTERED.
PLEASE KNOW THAT ALL OF YOU ARE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS AND REMEMBER THAT THIS LIFE DOES NOT COMPARE TO THE ETERNAL LIFE THAT AWAITS EACH OF US IF WE ARE PREPARED AS LOUIS WAS. GOD BLESS AND COMFORT YOU.
