Hazel L. Monroe, age 92, of North Little Rock, passed away, Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Born on January 13, 1925 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to the late Orville and Barbara Duncan Simmons.
Hazel was a unique and special woman, mother, wife, and friend. A small business owner that included Merle Norman, England, Arkansas and a bait shop in Wright. Hazel always made sure her nails and makeup were done even in the deer woods. Known for wearing her overalls, pistol in her holster, jumping into the Arkansas River to save a man who couldn't swim from the top of his truck after it rolled into the river.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, of 30 years, Doris Monroe; three sisters, and one brother.
Hazel is survived by her two daughters, Dianna Neff, of North Little Rock, Donna Watson, of Little Rock, four grandchildren, Bobby Joe Turner (Brandi), Denise Diane Wadley, Steven Watson (Regina), and Stacy Watson (Marian); eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth White, of Idaho.

(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
A Great lady who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed life and had favorite foods like peanut butter and butterscotch hard candy. She is now with her heavenly father..May the LORD comfort each family member.
