Glenda Avery Becht, 65, of West Memphis died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mrs. Becht was a member of the Marked Tree Church of God and the 15 year top of the Class Manager of Sally Beauty Supply.
She was preceded in death by her husband Terry Becht.
She is survived by four sons, Christopher Becht, Benjamin Whittemore (Heather), Jerry Dean Becht and Steven Carter (Wanda). Three sisters Sally Weiser, Mary Pruitt, Sharon Seidler, four brothers, George Avery, David Avery, Tony Avery and Mike Avery. Nine grandchildren, Jaden, Jackson, Savannah, Johnny, Courtney, Angel, Atlanta, James and Haley, and four great grandchildren.

I am so sorry for your loss. We know that even Jesus himself wept when he loss his friend Lazarus in death, so grieving is normal. However, I would like to share a scripture that has helped me during my grieving process. Revelation 21:3,4. I like it because it talks about a time when there won't be any sickness or death. You and your family will be in my prayers.

To the family Glenda and I were good friends when we went to Delta Vo Tech when we were taking Cosmetology. She was a very sweet lady I am sure that she will be missed. Even though I had lost touch with her I will always remember her and remember the time that we spent studying. May God Bless each member of her family. My prayer are for her loved ones. Janet George
