Dennis M. Way Sr., 68, of Duncan, Oklahoma, formally of the Earle / Hughes / Crawfordsville areas passed from this world on February 17, 2017, at his home surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who loved him very much. Born December 23, 1948 to the late Sam and Rena Lacomb-Way, of Crawfordsville, Arkansas. He loved life, loved laughing, fishing, a good western, The Arkansas Razorbacks and The Dallas Cowboys.
In the past few years, you could catch him perched up on a bar stool in the kitchen talking to his great grandkids after school, getting them to and from school and running them through McDonalds drive thru. Ohh he would complain it costed him a few dollars, but all they had to do way bat their eyes and ask.
Dennis is survived by his daughter and care taker, Michelle and Tim Fuller of Duncan, his son, Dennis Jr. and Joyce, of Marlow, Oklahoma. His grandchildren, (great grands) Jeff Stidham Jr. (Ella and Alexyss) , Kayla Fuller (Ryker), Tim Fuller Jr. (Carolina and Aiden) all of Duncan. Dana Way and Darla War of Marlow, Monica Fuller (Cameron and Matthew ), Vanessa Fuller, and Nicole Fuller (Danielle, Anthony, Nathan and Ethan) all of Shreveport, Louisiana. Brothers, Mike, Sammy and Earnie Way, all of Arkansas. A host of cousins, nephews, nieces and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Percy Way, and a sister, Ruby Briggs-Wallace.
Dennis wanted to share his body with science, as he made his wishes known prior to being ill, there will not be a service at this time.
