When we moved to Ar your parents were very welcoming. I know Roe enjoyed working with your father at Allis Chalmers-now Siemens. I am sorry for your loss.

Melissa and family, we are so sorry for your loss. We have many fond memories of your parents. Darrel worked with your dad at the plant and remembers helping move them into the log house. We both remember the Christmas parties and picnics that Siemens held. The last visit we had with your mom was when we stopped to see her when she lived off Rodney Parham. We exchanged Christmas cards for years. We always thanked them for their service to our country and think of them when we visit Pearl Harbor. We will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Darrel and Connie Becker

We were so sorry to hear of your Mom's/Grandmother's passing
while praying for her during Mass at St. Theresa's. Although some of us were just kids, we can recall great times when the Butkiewiczs, Medals (George & Georgiana-our Grandparents), and the Kemps (Sharon & Gus-our Parents) would all gather and visit with us kids in tow. Your Mom (& Dad too) were great folks and we are so sorry for your loss. We send Thoughts & Prayers and May God Comfort & Bless you all.

Melissa & Mary,

We lived three doors North of your parents on Crestwood RD in Lakewood many years ago. Your dad helped my husband on several occasions with home maintenance and I so enjoyed visits with your mom. She could always get me through a sewing or cooking mishap. We were newlyweds as well as the new kids on the block at the time and your parents were a wealth of knowledge as well as just good neighbors. May they both Rest In Peace.

Dear Melissa, Mary and family,

Your parents both taught you well, and served their country, community and family. The 'greatest generation' was exemplified in both of them.

I have fond memories of time with your family, especially in the early 90's, right after we met. You and your parents had the gift of hospitality, and knew how to garden, keep a house a home, sew, cook, love on people, fix things, and deliver needed guidance and life lessons.

When our parents are gone, we are left "rudderless" for a time, but only from the earthly standpoint. Those of us who are Christ's have Our Heavenly Father who never leaves us nor disappoints nor hurts, who will hold us up when we can't walk along, lift our heads, calm our hearts, and love us through every day and circumstance.

Melissa, you sacrificed your own time and life to care for your mother through every stage... from the loss of your dad (her husband of many years), loss of independence, loss of health, and bouts with loss of mental clarity (hers AND yours :-) ). There is laid up for you some special jewels for your crown some day. You kept one of the great commandments, to honor your father and mother, and there are special blessings when we do, both now and later.

I love you, am here for you, and am praying for ALL of you in this time of loss and sadness. Treat each other well, love each other because He first loved us, no matter what, and that carries forward the legacy of love your mom and dad instilled in you.

Melissa, my thoughts and prayers are with you on this sad sad day you have said goodbye to your mom. If there is one thing I know your mom will always know you loving care of her. Know you will have many blessings being the devoted daughter you were. I certainly know this feeling you have as you know. I am here for any support, cry fest or listening ear. My God wrap his loving arms around you & give you the comfort that only He can. Love, Jenn

Fondly remember 'Aunt' Annette and 'Uncle' Ed as our family's closest friends all thru the 60's. They were a very warm and loving family sharing many of the best times of my youth which still yield strong memories. Mary Ann and Melissa, here's hoping your grief is soon overcome with only good memories. Roy

Mimi......
Words will never be able to describe the constant love, care, and time that you adoringly gave to your family. Ever the devoted matriarch, you always made sure that all our needs were met, that special occasions and milestones were lovingly marked, our life lessons were properly and thoroughly learned, and our values deeply instilled. Because of you, we were able to grow into the women and young ladies we are today as we have your strength to thank for that. Take with you all of our love and thanks, and rest now knowing that you did a job well done. We could never be more proud. xoxoxox
