William L. Fuqua (Bill) passed away January 18, 2017 at the age of 74. He was born in North Little Rock on October 31, 1942 to Edward Fuqua and Dorothy Tyler Dollar.
Bill is survived by two sons: Ray Fuqua of Little Rock and Rick Fuqua of Washington State and a daughter Angela Ellison of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is also survived by three grandchildren and a sister Edwina Crockett and her husband Earl of Little Rock; and stepbrother Butch Dollar and wife Cathie of Columbus, Mississippi.
Bill was a graduate of the North Little Rock Public Schools. He was a diesel mechanic and served in the Armed Forces in Germany as a helicopter mechanic. He has worked throughout Little Rock and the Mid-South in this capacity.
Inurnment services will take place 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

Billy Fuqua was a great friend in school in North Little Rock. I remember all the good times we had together! Billy would pick me up on his motorcycle and we would go riding and go to the movie and dairy queen! Billy was a very nice man and we will all miss him greatly!
