Donna Sue Buford, 54, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Southaven, Mississippi. Donna was born June 25, 1962 at Helena to Paul and Ruth Mullens Carr.
She loved the simple things in life like hunting, fishing, going to the sand bar on weekends and riding on the back of Michael's Harley. She had a gentle sweet nature about her with a caring and loving smile. These qualities served her well as a mental health para professional.
Donna is survived by her husband of 15 years, Michael Buford of West Helena; one son, Jeremy Hadder of West Helena; two daughters, Selena Hadder and Leslie Hadder, both of West Helena; her parents, Paul and Ruth Carr of West Helena; seven grandchildren, Lexy, Gage, Charlie, Riley, Kayleigh, Bailey and Benjamin; two sisters, Sandy Daugherty (Trey) of West Helena and Doris James (Kenny) also of West Helena; two brothers, Brian Carr of West Helena and David Carr of Corinth, Mississippi. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Sissy and Buck.
Graveside services for Donna Sue Buford will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be held prior to services at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home beginning at 9:00. Brother Lance Madden will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Reed, James Wood, Stephen Williams, Adam Buford, Kurt Miles and Claude Lee.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Jake Lake Hunting Club.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena (870) 572-2571.
Rode the bus from West acres many years with Donna a soft spoken quiet person but fun to be around God Bless her and her family
