Mozelle Richardson, age 93, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, in Denison, Texas. She was born February 14, 1923, in Eros, Arkansas, the daughter of William Vernon and Nola (McEntire) Copeland. She

Mozelle was a pastor's wife that absolutely loved her job and everything associated with it. She had a heart for missions and spent her life serving others. Prior to her marriage, she worked for Obermans/Levi Strauss in Harrison where she made many friends. People loved to hear her laugh and her giggle was her trademark. She was always on the go. She dearly loved her family and her church.
Mozelle was a skilled seamstress who made all the clothing for herself and her three daughters. She also had an excellent Alto voice and was in a quartet that regularly sang on the radio in the forties. But most of all, Mozelle was a wonderful, loving person that will be dearly missed.
Mozelle is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Richardson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Rhonda and Bill Brown of Pottsboro, Texas; her ''adopted'' daughter, Deborah Martin; and many other family and friends.

Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.

Mozy was one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of being around. She was always smiling and so loving! I'm so grateful that I was able to have such a sweet soul in my life. She will be definitely be missed.
Mom Mozy was her name to me. She was like a second mother. Words can't describe her. She took care of me when I had surgery a couple of different times. She could make the "best" biscuits and gravy ever. She made dressing for me to take to my family at Christmas, and not your average dressing either. She sewed for me several different times. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tease. She was a lot to fun to be around. If I needed prayer I knew who to go to and I knew everything would be alright when she prayed. She was a angel on earth and I really believe that! I loved her and will miss her so much. Now, she's an angel with Jesus.
When I first moved to Harrison, Mozelle befriended me at church and she was a dear friend. She reminded me constantly that the Joy of the Lord was my strength and I depended on that joy to get me through some tough times. She was always so positive and I will forever smile when I have memories of times spent with her. She was sincerely a blessing to me and my family.
She was such a wonderful person and example. She always had a smile on her face and a love for others. She is loved and will be greatly missed.
Sister Mozelle was a wonderful and caring person who had a great love for God. She was someone I enjoyed visiting when I was her pastor. She will be missed.
I met Mozelle at church when I was a kid. She was always smiling. She was sweet and kind. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I haven't seen Mozelle since Ruby's funeral but thought of her often. I spent the night at the Copelands house several times as a child. Ruby was like a second mother to me. Sorry for your loss
My thoughts and prayers are with you girls on your Mom's passing. Mozzie was a very special neighbor for many years to Agness and we loved her.
Love you all, Joyce Turney
