I only met Alfred once. I know that he was a hard working man and loved his family very much. The loss of his wife and two sons, so close together, must have been devastating to him. My sympathy goes out to his whole family but especially to my sister, Judy, and her children. Losing Alfred is like losing Larry again!

I drank many cups of coffee, with this sweet man, heard many war stories, and had much love for this man. It will be different not to get up and not wonder how Fred is today. I know he is where he has been struggling to get for a long time.
