Jimmy Dale Campbell, 78 of Lamar, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Fort Smith. Jimmy was born September 17, 1938 in Jerusalem to Mr. Clyde and Ruby Juanita (Fryer) Campbell. He served in the Arkansas National Guard, and was a retired press operator at Rheem Manufacturing. He was a loving grandfather and dad. Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.
Mr. Campbell is survived by two daughters, Ruby Sue Jones of Dover, and Kathy Lynn Campbell of Lamar; two Sons, David Dale (Debra) Campbell of Lamar, and Joseph Dale Campbell of Lamar; two brothers, Robert Campbell of Pottsville, and Donnie Campbell of Lawton, OK.; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Oark Cemetery, with Bro. Tom Harkins officiating.

Dear Campbell family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Jimmy. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
