Eatheal Treat (Balentine), age 99, of Big Flat died on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. She was born on January 4, 1918 in Big Flat, Arkansas to Adron and Susie Balentine. She was a member of the Big Flat Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church, going to singings, and visiting with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, L.J. Treat and daughter-in-law, Karma Treat; three granddaughters, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren that will remember her as a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jurd Treat; daughter, Clare Mae Brown; parents, Adron and Susie (Kemp) Balentine; two grandsons, Baby Christopher and Keith Dixon; sisters, Opal Ramsey of Oklahoma, Lily Gammill of Timbo, Eunice Lawrence of Mountain View, AnnaLea Ashley of Hot Springs, Letha Lee of Onia, and Baby Gladis; brothers, Cody Balentine of Illinois, Leody Balentine of Illinois, Anthony Balentine of Springdale, and Ode Balentine of Missouri.

Visitation is Saturday, January 7, 2017, Bethany Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Onia, Arkansas from 12:00-2:00 PM with funeral services following the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM with Brother Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Interment will be at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Larry Gammill, Dennis Dixon, Larry James Gammill, Roy Jones, Chris Harris, and John Watts. Honorary pallbearers are JE Webb, Jimmy Mitchell, and Bentley Massey.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Eatheal, I always loved spending time with her. We had great fun and I owe her for getting me into church and getting closer to God! She was a great lady! I'm so sorry for your loss but we will see her again one day. I love you Eatheal.
